Venerable Barbara Shannon

Based in the UK, V Barbara is a Buddhist nun and a former registered nurse, midwife and health visitor. Currently she is the Liberation Prison Project coordinator in the UK.

Having retired from my paid nursing work, I facilitate dharma classes, death cafes and courses. I also look after and support sick people until death as a Buddhist funeral celebrant.

I am really inspired by FDCW courses and as they benefit me then I would really like to share that learning with others
