Lynn Seedhouse

Lynn is a retired Insurance Executive who spent her career with one of the largest general insurance companies in the UK. As Director of Operations, she had extensive experience working at Board level to develop strategy and then implement it operationally. Over the years she has led teams ranging from 35 to 1400 people and also found time to study for a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).

She also became a member of the Independent Monitoring Board for HMP Manchester which is a high security prison for around 1000 male offenders sentenced to 10 years or more. The role was an official appointment by the UK Ministry of Justice. Her main responsibilities were visiting all areas of the prison to monitor and report on the treatment of prisoners particularly regarding their safety, well-being and fair and humane treatment.

Lynn is a keen supporter of FDCW because she believes strongly in the importance for world peace of sharing the development of compassion and wisdom with people of all religions and none.
