From Elaine

I met Lama Yeshe in 1977 during a month-long meditation course in southern California. At that course, land was donated for what is now the retreat center, Vajrapani Institute. I was one of the founding members of Vajrapani and have remained an active participant ever since, serving in different capacities. It was Lama Yeshe's compassionate wisdom and his unique, joy-filled style of teaching, that hooked many Westerners. It is wonderful that FDCW is manifesting Lama's dream of making dharma accessible using more of a psychological approach. My greatest interest lies in helping students have a taste of the benefits of meditation.
