"MINDFULNESS MATTERS" a free webinar with Mabel Odessey

  • Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom London United Kingdom (map)

Mindfulness is widely spoken of these days but do we really understand the liberating potential it can have in our lives? In this webinar, Mabel will share her journey, some background on western secular mindfulness and how it can help us  look into our minds and habits in meaningful ways to cultivate our innate wisdom and compassion.

Mabel Odessey is  a 16 Guidelines facilitator since 2015, currently in the 2nd year  of the MSC mindfulness and compassion program at University of West of Scotland. She is certified to teach the MBLC (Mindfulness Based Living course), a secular program developed by the respected Buddhist teacher Rob Nairn and the Mindfulness Association.  It is accessible and valuable to beginners and seasoned meditators who have experienced how it  can inform and deepen other practices or aid us in our quest to live in harmony with ourselves.

Your life will not be changed overnight you will not experience bliss and serenity, but with practice as Rob Nairn says you can learn to accept your own neurotic mess and how to work skillfully to transform it.

In the spirit of universal education this will be an experiential webinar with time for sharing and Q and A.
