International launch of the SEE Learning program
“Time is always moving on; nothing can stop it. We can’t change the past, but we can shape the future. The more compassionate you are, the more you will find inner peace. Education is a key factor in creating a better future." - Dalai Lama
What an amazing few days it was! This historic event was held in New Delhi in April 2019. The invited audience of over one thousand included educators from all over the world. FDCW had two representatives - Oi Loon Lee (FDCW Executive Director Advisor) and Ceci Buzon (16 Guidelines facilitator) - along side representatives from FPMT, Mind Science Academy, Potential Project and Creating Compassionate Cultures at the launch.
What is SEE Learning?
The Social, Emotional and Ethical Learning (SEE Learning) is a new K-12 education program developed at Emory University for international use. SEE Learning provides educators with a comprehensive framework for the cultivation of social, emotional and ethical competencies. Using education to foster values that lead to greater happiness and harmony for societies across the world.
The SEE Learning framework includes three domains (Personal, Social, and Systems) and three dimensions (Awareness, Compassion, and Engagement).
We'd love to congratulate the team at Emory University for creating such a wonderful tool for helping children around the world lead happier lives.
Love the FDCW team
